Revell 1/25 10 Ford Shelby GT500
The Shelby Legend lives on today in the heart of Fords newest Mustang. The magic has been working since the first Carroll Shelby Mustang in 1965 called the GT350. It was really a race car with license plates. Then in 1967 Carroll Shelby offered the first GT500 which was equipped with a much larger engine. The first Shelby had a 289 cubic inch engine, but the 67 GT500 had a 428 cubic inch monster motor. Now in 2010 the GT500 has a more refined supercharged 5.4 liter, 540 horsepower V-8 engine. The performance results from the track tests are very impressive; 0 to 60 mph in 4.55 sec. and the quarter mile in 12.6 sec. These have always been the trademarks of a Shelby Mustang.
