The Porsche Boxter, with its horizontally placed 6-cylinder engine and rear wheel drive attracted fans around the globe with its unique style. Owners were always tempted to build upon this uniqueness by adding option parts not only for performance enhancement, but also for style. Customization known as Porsche Tequipment became popular for provinding option parts for Porsches and other cars to dealers. Eventually, Porsche produced a splendid array of its own option parts and ventured into a program known as Porsche Exclusive that enabled Porsche owners to receive close support on customizing their cars. In addition to body material and color selection some of the options included lowering clearance for better handling, adding a larger stabilizer, and attaching reinforced shock absorbers. Option packages such as a sports chassis package and automated control system (PSM) for increased stability were also available for owners to create their very own one-of-a-kind Porsche. When the Porsche Boxster made its debut in 1996, it too became a popular model to customize. The Boxsters affinity for customization became particularly apparent during the 2001 Tokyo Motor Show, when crowds gathered around a yellow, customized Boxster that featured two bumps on the rear section and was specially designed under the Porsche Exclusive program. With its body, as well mesh wheels and roll bars all painted bright speed yellow, the car displayed as Porshce Boxster special edition drew considerable attention with it speedy and original style.

The Titan family of expendable rockets was extremely successful, with 368 launches between 1959 and 2005. The 48m-long Titan IIIE, sometimes referred to as the Titan III-Centaur, was used a total of seven times. The name Centaur stemmed from the fact that a Centaur-D upper stage was added to boost the systemâs performance. This three-stage rocket was instrumental in launching NASAâs two Voyager probes to Jupiter and Saturn, as well as the two Viking missions. The latter put instrumented landers on the surface of Mars. The Titan IIIE was used from 1974-77, with all missions blasting off from Space Launch Complex 41 (SLC-41) at Cape Canaveral in Florida. Now collectors and space enthusiasts can recreate the dramatic launch of a Titan IIIE with Dragonâs newest 1/400 scale model. The new Dragon Space miniature shows an impressive Titan IIIE rocket positioned on its SLC-41 launch pad awaiting blastoff from Cape Canaveral. The pre-painted model is highly accurate and is fully detailed, including correct sequences of markings. It comes with its special high-specific-impulse Centaur upper stage, which gives it a very different appearance to the Titan IIIC released previously. The metallic color of this upper stage is authentically reproduced. The model also features two huge strap-on solid rocket boosters. For folk who wish to feel the power of a Titan rocket launch, this is a must-have item.

One of the most famous vessels in maritime history is the HMS Bounty, a sailing ship that became known for the bold mutiny that took place on board. In 1787 Captain William Bligh was ordered by King George III to bring bread-fruit trees from Tahiti to the West Indies in the Bounty. Captain Bligh ruled with an iron hand and continually reduced the rations of his crew. On 28th April 1789 the famous mutiny occurred. Bligh and 18 of his henchmen were set adrift in a boat but, after a veritable odyssey of a voyage, succeeded in making their way back to England. The rest of the crew decided to remain in the region and settled on Pitcairn Island, far from the shipping routes. To prevent discovery, the Bounty was ultimately burned by her former crew in 1790.
